List of Seminar :

Event Name Seminar on Industrial Safety
Date: 11th July, 2013
Event Details This seminar was conducted under Institute-Institute-Interaction activity under the aegis of MESA for one day. This was first seminar under I-Cube activity. The speaker for this seminar was Mr. Sandip Kharkhanis -Assistant Manager – BOSCH India Ltd, Satpur Nashik. This seminar was conducted for faculties and students from mechanical engineering branch. Mr. Karkhanis explained the importance of industrial safety. It was realized because of the fact that every year millions occupational/ industrial accidents occur which result in loss of production time equivalent to millions of man hours and machine hours. From this loss, about one-fifth production time is lost by those actually injured due to temporary and permanent disablement and the remaining production time is lost by fellow operators/ people in helping the injured, in taking care of the damage caused by accident etc. The loss to the industrial unit appears to be much more alarming when death cases due to accidents are considered. Prevention to all these losses is by taking safety precautions in industry and around industry. He has included a session on first aid also. Around 92 students and all faculty members have taken advantage of this event.
Event Name Seminar on ISO:TS:16949 technical specification understanding
Date: 10th January 2015
